In our modern, fast-paced, and multitasking society, our attention is constantly being pulled outward in many directions. Some of this is normal as we live in the world.  But sometimes we can become overwhelmed with the happenings of the outer world and lose our ability to focus on any one thing for any significant amount of time.

We live in a fast-paced seemingly ceaseless moving society.  Some people even wear their sleep deprivation on their sleeves as a badge of honor.  But not getting enough sleep or poor quality of sleep can lead to weight gain, low energy, bad moods, decrease cardiovascular health and decrease cognitive function.
